Project Ideas: Monogram Scroll Frame

Just a quick project idea to share with you today. We created this Monogram Scroll Frame using only two pieces, one sheet of pattern paper, one tube of paint, a flower embellishment and some adhesive to hold it all together! I love the finished look of the project and think it would be an awesome addition to a wall in your home or even your front door. You can find a detailed project sheet with instructions and a supply list on our website HERE.

Have a great weekend!

Project Ideas: Organizing Plaques

Today I just have a couple of project samples to share with you using our Organizing Boards. These pieces come finished in black or brown, and have the clips already attached. You can easily embellish these pieces to create a memo board, a photo display, an organizational board, or simply a decorative piece.

You can find a few other samples we have created (and shared previously) using this same piece HERE.

Project Ideas: Family 3 Panel Window

Hi Everyone! And Happy Monday.

Today I just have a quick project idea to share with you using our 3 panel window frames. This piece comes finished in the black distressed wood, and plain glass panels, and hanging wire for both a vertical or horizontal design.

For this sample we used pattern paper and embellishments from a My Mind's Eye paper line, added some photos and a vinyl saying to the center panel. You can find a detailed project sheet for this piece on our website HERE.

Project Ideas: Coaster Sets.

Today I have a couple project ideas to share with you using one of our regular coaster sets - but using a few fun new techniques to embellish and decorate them!

If you have a smart phone you are probably familiar with the Instagram App. Instagram is a fun way to take, edit and share photos with friends, but you don't want to just let all your great photos live on your phone.  You should also print them out and use them on pieces around your house to enjoy as well. For this particular project we used the Walgreen's App to send our photos from our Instagram account directly to our local Walgreen's store - where they will print out your photos to the 4x4" size.

Since the photos are already edited and sized perfectly to fit the coaster set - creating this project was then so much easier! You can find the complete instructions for the Instagram Coaster Set here.

Another product that is very popular right now is Washi Tape. It is versatile, easy to use, and the best part is that it comes in a huge selection of colors and styles. For this sample Megan simply taped the Washi Tape directly to the coaster (using a Washi Tape pack from My Mind's Eye that comes with all the styles of Washi Tape you see below) and then sealed the tape to the coasters. You can find a project sheet for these Washi Tape Coasters here.

MORE Gifts for Mom.

On my last post I forgot to share the items I had picked out from our Gifts Department!...Which is crazy because our Gifts/Home Decor areas have some of the best stuff for mom.

The few things I wanted to share was a couple of items from our jewelry area. We have necklaces, watches, earrings, bracelets available - but I particularly liked the two necklaces below. Mom's would love them!

Another "can't go wrong" gift idea would be some of the Wind & Willow dessert and dip mixes - we also have dip chillers and serving bowls that you can pair with the mixes to create a fun little gift basket too.
